The quality, comfort and soft feel of these quilted acrylic fabric hammocks is unsurpassed. Two layers of durable fade, mildew and stain resistant outdoor Sunbrella® or Duracord® acrylic fabric are quilted together and filled with polyester fiberfill for maximum comfort. These fabrics are extremely strong, durable and stain resistant making either a superior outdoor fabric choice.           The quilted bed is fastened to the supporting ropes with large solid brass grommets.  The rope supporting the bed is soft spun polyester, which resists mildew and rotting, a downfall of cotton rope when used outdoors in damp shady environments.  The supporting ropes pass through a solid 1.5" oak spreader bar. The spreader bar is coated with polyurethane for long outdoor wear. The support ropes are gathered onto a heavy duty steel ring on each end of the hammock.           The length of the hammock itself from ring to ring measures 13ft. and is supplied with one foot of chain on each end, giving it an overall length with chains of 15 ft., the length of any of the steel and wood hammock stands.           All of our Quilted hammocks come with a pair of heavy-duty tree hooks for hanging the hammock to a post or tree without a hammock stand. The steel rings, chains and tree hooks are zinc coated to prevent corrosion.
